Overview

DiffusionWorks does not use advertising trackers or analytics on this website. We collect personal information only when you choose to join the Ultimate Water 2D update list or contact us directly.

Information we collect

When you join the update list, we store:

• Your email address.
• Your subscription status and the dates associated with subscribing, confirming, or unsubscribing.
• A one-way keyed hash of the signup IP address and a limited browser user-agent value, used to record consent and prevent abuse.
• Security tokens needed to confirm the subscription and provide an unsubscribe link.

Our hosting provider may also create ordinary short-lived server logs containing technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information, and time of access.

How we use it

We use this information only to:

• Verify that you requested the subscription.
• Send occasional development news and launch information about DiffusionWorks products.
• Operate the unsubscribe system, prevent spam, and protect the mailing list.
• Respond when you contact support.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Service providers

Website hosting, database storage, and email delivery are provided through Hostinger services. These providers process information only as needed to operate those services. Their infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own.

Storage and retention

Mailing-list email addresses and unsubscribe tokens are encrypted in the application database. Signup IP addresses are stored as keyed hashes rather than in plain text. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable measures intended to limit unauthorized access.

We retain active subscription information while you remain subscribed. Pending and unsubscribed records may be retained as reasonably necessary to operate the confirmation system, honor opt-outs, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may request permanent deletion by emailing us.

Your choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with your email address. Rights can differ by location, and we will handle applicable requests as required by law.

Children

The update list is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.
